Author Sandra Levi recently published a book based on her life of growing up with her father, the cheating rabbi. The story, as sad as it is, for all it's clandestine twists and turns, could easily be made into a pretty dark and funny comedy. I'd pay to see it. Any film makers out there looking for a fresh idea?
The story came out in the tabloid, The Daily Mail a few days ago and, I could not resist without honoring it with a posting on our site. Sadly and (not that) shocking, is that the author in question, has been heavily criticized by her father's congregation for outing him and the true story of what went down, I mean, who did the in and out with, the randy rabbi. "Filth, filth, filth" was found scrawled on an invitation to her book launch party.
Clearly many people brought into his perfect-o image hook-line and sinker and will have absolutely none if it! Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how much people & their funny life kind of humor you appreciate), you eventually realize that there those who are worth reasoning with, and then there are the kind of short-sighted folk who you just have to sort of observe (because they're sadly hilarious), then step away from, and move on by getting on with your life because it's not worth wasting your damn breath over. And why bother!
But here's the best part: not only was he a rabbi but a founding member of the Marriage Guidance Council. I ain't that surprised. On top of all that he was branded as the "pillar" of his community. Wow. How kind of this guy to offer his pillar... yeah I bet he was known as "the pillar".
But I digress. The story is, like a said, worth checking out if nothing to except read about how this rabbi fucked his Catholic maid, and crap loads of other women in the community. I could see Christopher Walken as the rabbi! Anyway, rabbi later ran off with the butchers wife to go live in Arkansas. The daughter later made her peace before he moved on to go hang out with the chosen people in the sky. Randy rabbi told her that he had lived his life with no regrets. But of-course.
